  • EEC STUDENTS LOVE OUR TROOPS
Donations Now Being Accepted for Care Package

    We Love Our Troops
EEC students are learning to give back! For the past month, classes have been collecting donations of medical supplies, toiletries, non-perishable snacks including popcorn and pretzels, gum, books, movies, and music to send overseas to the brother of one of our very own teachers!

The students will send the collected items later this month to his platoon which is currently stationed in Afghanistan. Thank you for helping us send a care package and for teaching our students the importance of giving!

  • EEC STUDENTS COLLECT CAN TABS FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
Kiwanis Organization Helps Students Help Others

Claiborne Small Congratulations to Ms. Claiborne’s first-grade class for collecting the most tabs for the Kiwanis to donate to the Ronald McDonald house. The tabs collected at EEC are a small part of the thousands of pull tabs being collected for the benefit of the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth. The house allows families to stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost where they can enjoy privacy and home-cooked meals—a much appreciated luxury to displaced families with sick children. Thank you to everyone for contributing to this wonderful cause all school year!

  • NEW DUAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM OFFERS BILINGUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR KRUM STUDENTS
English and Spanish Dominant Students Now Able to Learn New Languages Together

Flyer In an effort to further prepare students for the challenges which await them after high school graduation, Krum ISD will introduce their first two-way dual language program in the fall semester of 2012. Over 450 districts across Texas use a dual language program including schools at neighboring districts. Due to the anticipated popularity of the program, there will be limited space to accommodate students. Interested parents must attend three parent meetings at the EEC campus in order for their child to be eligible.
