  • Krum PTO Presents Fifth Annual Little Darling Dance

    Tickets Only Five Dollars

    Little Darling Krum PTO invites all KISD students from pre-k through fifth-grade to attend the annual little darling dance with an adult escort. The evening will include light refreshments, a professional photograph, and family friendly music. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 per person and admission is open to dads, daughters, moms, sons, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.     School Board Recognition Month Celebrated in January

    Our School Board Texans benefit every day from the tireless work and countless hours dedicated by a group of more than 7,300 men and women in communities across the state. Elected to serve by local constituents, these public servants receive no compensation for their efforts. These men and women are the school board members of Texas. January is School Board Recognition Month—an opportunity to thank these local leaders for devoting time to support public education and serve our local schools.

    Assembly Promotes Academic Achievement through Character Development

    NED Students and staff at Krum Middle School and Dyer Elementary recently partnered together for an anti-bulling and character program. Hailed as America’s most popular school assembly, The NED Show is an educational presentation which serves as a catalyst to enhance school climate.

    New Father Involvement Program Aims to Increase Male Presence at Youngest Campuses

    Dads 120 watchdogs in one room sounds terrifying. But when those dogs are actually local dads, the picture becomes something entirely different. WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students), a parent involvement program geared toward fathers hosted its kick-off meeting at Dyer Elementary this month with 340 people in attendance.
