KMS and KHS Students to Receive Remote Instruction

September 13, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Krum ISD has become aware of an additional two cases of COVID-19 that impact Krum Middle School and Krum High School.  At this point, we believe the best course of action to protect our students and staff is to switch to remote instruction effective tomorrow morning, September 14, 2020, which will allow us to conduct the contact tracing completely.  No extracurricular activities will be offered tomorrow at KHS or KMS.  Each campus is in the process of being thoroughly cleaned.

Your child will need to access their classes through Google Classroom for instructions from their teacher on how to access Zoom for remote instructions.  We realize that this requires a great deal of flexibility, but be assured that your child was provided instructions and class codes for each course at the beginning of the school year and has had experience using this learning management system.  Students will complete and turn their work in through google classroom tomorrow.

Krum ISD is committed to your child’s education, as well as their health and safety.  Thank you for being patient as we investigate the extent of the exposure for all of our staff and students.  Please keep an eye on your email for additional notices tomorrow.

Thank you,

Krum ISD
