Dear Bobcat Nation,
We come to you asking for prayers and support for the Garcia Tovar family, a member of the Krum ISD community. As many of you are aware there was a major accident on the evening of April 12, 2023 on US Hwy 380 that resulted in the death of the mother and one of the children, a student at Dyer Elementary, is in critical condition. The Garcia Tovar family has two children who attend Krum ISD and one younger child. We cannot begin to imagine the devastation this family must be feeling. As always, we know that many of you in this wonderful community have asked how you can help. Below are the ways Krum ISD has established for members of the community to assist this special family.
- A bank benefit account has been opened at First United Bank under the name of Garcia Tovar to accept donations.
- Cash and gift card donations will be accepted at all Krum ISD campus offices through April 21, 2023.
