KMS students overwhelm W4STEM summer camp

Krum Middle School girls made up the majority of participants at W4STEM Camp offered by the Texas Woman’s University Department of Mathematics and Computer Science over the summer. A total of 21 KMS students attended the camp at no cost, held June 12 to 17 at the university. Campers learned about forensic science, 3D printing and algebra throughout the week. In addition, a different female STEM professional visited with students each day, including a chiropractor, nurse practitioner, and therapeutic oncologist.
