About Us

The Krum Independent School District established its own district police Department in 2018. KISD now
has an officer serving on every campus to help ensure the safety of all students, staff and visitors. The
Krum ISD Police Department’s primary mission is to provide a safe and productive learning environment
while establishing positive relationships for the future. Krum ISD Police Department is fully functioning
police agency with jurisdiction that includes all campuses within that district. The district’s non-
emergency number is (940) 435-7651. The department utilizes Denton County Sheriff’s Department
Dispatch that can be contacted after hours at (940) 349-1600.
