Working Together

Krum ISD prides itself on the individualization of each student’s programming and the wide continuum of services we can provide. We will meet as a committee to develop a plan for each student requiring services.

EVALUATIONS

A parent or an educational committee can request an evaluation of a student to determine if the student qualifies for specially designed instruction, accommodations, modifications, and/or other services.

ARD MEETINGS

Each year your child will have a collaborative Annual, Review, or Dismissal meeting to review his/her Individualized Education Plan and the services Krum ISD can provide. At this meeting, you can accept or decline the services for any reason.

DENTON COUNTY SPECIAL EDUCATION COOPERATIVE

Krum ISD contracts with DCSEC to assist with Child Find guidelines. They also provide additional student services such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychological Services, and many more.
