ESSER Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan and Use of Funds

Instructional Delivery Method

We are excited to welcome back all remote learning students as we begin the 2021-2022 school year. All learning within Krum ISD will be conducted in person at one of our campuses.

Each campus will operate under the start and dismissal times, as listed in the table below.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you of the new campus hours. The campus start and dismissal times for the 2022-2023 school year are as follows:

Krum Early Education Center

7:40 am - 3:15 pm

Hattie Dyer Elementary

7:55 am - 3:30 pm

Blanche Dodd Elementary

7:55 am - 3:30 pm

Krum Middle School

8:00 am - 3.40 pm

Krum High School 

8:00 am - 3.40 pm

Services to Address Student Academic Needs

  • Students will have WIN (What I Need) instructional and intervention services each school day.
  • Extended learning time.
  • Updated and high-quality instructional materials for mathematics in grades K-5. 

Staff Training

Staff were able to attend training on Mental Health First Aid in partnership with Denton County MHMR.

Use of Funds

Krum ISD intends to apply for ESSER funds through a federal grant to assist with school district operations and learning needs. Below is the public notice for Krum ISD's Funding Course of Action plan for ESSER Funds issued under the ARP.
