Bus Routes
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Subject: Important Changes to Bus Transportation and Attendance Zones
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to inform you about some significant changes to our school bus transportation system, which will take effect at the beginning of the upcoming school year. These changes are designed to enhance the efficiency of our transportation services and ensure the safety and convenience of all students.
1. New Attendance Zones:
To better accommodate the needs of our growing student population and optimize bus routes, we have implemented changes to the attendance zones for our three PK-5 campuses: Dixie Hansel Elementary (formerly EEC), Dyer Elementary, and Dodd Elementary. The adjustments have been made to streamline transportation routes and improve the overall effectiveness of our bus system.
2. Transportation for Students Outside the Two-Mile Radius:
To ensure that all students have access to transportation, we will continue to provide bus services for those residing outside the two-mile radius (shaded circle on each map) of their respective schools. This ensures that students living in more distant areas still have a safe and reliable means of transportation to and from school.
