2024-2025 Transfers

As we embark on a new phase of growth and development within our district, we want to ensure that our families are informed and prepared for the changes to elementary school configurations.  One significant aspect of this is our continued commitment to accommodating transfer students, both within and outside of the Krum ISD boundaries.

Starting June 1, 2024, transfer applications for the upcoming academic year will be available online HERE for families interested in enrolling their children at Krum ISD schools. This includes intra-district transfers for families residing within the district but wishing to attend a different campus and inter-district transfers for families living outside of our district boundaries.

We understand the importance of providing families with choices when it comes to their child's education, and we are dedicated to facilitating this process fairly and transparently. Therefore, all transfer applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, considering qualifications and available space at the requested campus. Prior to opening the transfer window an email will be sent through Parent Square notifying parents of the transfer application process and timelines.  Transfers will open on June 1, 2024 with detailed instructions. 

Notifications will be sent out at the end of July 2024. However, it's essential to note that while we strive to accommodate all transfer requests, there may be instances where the enrollment exceeds the allotted spaces available at a particular campus. In such cases, students will be placed on a waiting list and will remain at their home campus or district until space becomes available.
