Cristina Romo Named Teacher of the Month at Krum ISD Board Meeting

At the Krum ISD board meeting on Wednesday, September 10, Lyndi Stupka, principal of Hansel Elementary, proudly announced Cristina Romo as the school’s Teacher of the Month.

Romo is a first-year teacher at Hansel, teaching 4th grade math and science. A Krum ISD alumna, she completed her student teaching at Dyer Elementary last spring.

A special education teacher who works alongside Romo shared high praise, saying, “Mrs. Romo has created a classroom environment where students feel respected, supported, and cared for. She handles challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism and she also makes learning engaging for all students and is working hard to meet the diverse needs of her learners. Our campus is very lucky to have her!”
