Parental Consent: SB12 FAQs
As a result of the 2025 Legislative Session, school districts are now required to obtain annual signed parent/guardian consent in order for students to receive routine health services, counseling services, or participate in school-sponsored clubs and organizations. This includes things like first aid, short-term counseling, or vision and hearing screenings.
Consent forms are available in ParentSquare.
