Bullying
Bullying occurs when a student or group of students engages in written or verbal expression or physical conduct that is meant to have the effect of physically harming a student, damaging a student’s property, or placing a student in reasonable fear of harm. Bullying actions or threats are severe, persistent, or pervasive and create an intimidating, threatening, or abusive educational environment for a student. Bullying can include hazing, threats, taunting, confinement, assault, demands for money, destruction of property, theft of valued possessions, name-calling, rumor spreading, and ostracism.

Report Bullying
Reports of bullying should be made as soon as possible following the incident. Krum ISD offers online reporting forms (links below) and the Anonymous Alerts reporting system.
Anonymous Alerts
The Anonymous Alerts anti-bullying and safety app reporting system helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up.
The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between submitters (students, parents or community members) and school officials. Users of the system can choose to remain anonymous when submitting a report.
To send an ALERT from the Web/Internet go to: www.anonymousalerts.com/krumisd
To send an ALERT from your phone:
- Download the Anonymous Alerts® app for free from the Apple Store, Google Play store, or the Chrome store
- Start the App, enter activation code: krumisd
- Send important reports to school officials
- Add a screenshot, photo or video about the incident
In an emergency, always call 9-1-1!
